PAPAIN : A Natural Protease from Papaya
Papain is a high-quality natural protease enzyme derived from the Carica papaya (papaya fruit). It is known for its ability to break down proteins into smaller peptides and amino acids. Papain is commonly extracted from the unripe fruit, leaves, and latex of the papaya tree. It is renowned for its versatile applications across food processing, nutraceuticals, animal feed, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and industrial sectors. At Poorvesh Biotech, we offer Papain in various forms and activity levels, all standardized and tested at our on-site laboratory using the following methods:

- Tyrosine Assay (TU/g)
- Food Chemicals Codex Plant Protease Assay (FCC PU/g)
- Hemoglobin Assay (HUT/gram)
In addition to our internal testing, we also utilize third-party analysis through NABL-accredited laboratories or government labs to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Ultra Refined Papain Powder (URPP)

BROMELAIN : A Natural Protease from Pineapple Stems
Bromelain is a protease enzyme derived from the stems of pineapple. This extract is a mixture of proteolytic enzymes, providing maximum cumulative activity over a temperature range of 35°C – 45°C. At Poorvesh Biotech, we offer Bromelain in various forms and activity levels, standardized and tested at our on-site laboratory using the following methods:
- GDU (Gelatin Digestion Unit) per gram
- Food Chemicals Codex Plant Protease Assay (FCC PU/mg)
- Hemoglobin Assay (HUT/gram)
In addition to our internal testing, we also utilize third-party analysis through NABL-accredited laboratories or government labs to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability.
